Removing Window 7 Trial From Window XP

If you have installed Window 7 trial at Window XP with dual boot, you may want to uninstall it after you testing. Below are the steps to remove it

1. Boot up to WinXP

2. Insert Win7 DVD installer to DVD driver

3. Open command prompt. Start Menu -> Run -> cmd

4. Type the following command

[DVD Drive Letter]:\boot\bootsect.exe /nt52 ALL /force

This will remove Win7 booting

5. Remove the DVD installer

6. Restart PC

7. You should see the system to start up with WinXP

8. Remove any Win7 system manually

9. At root folder of WinXP, remove Boot.bak and BootSect.bak. They are the backup file for Win7 bootloader
